The topics of counselling are not necessarily negative or distressful, they may be about a life choice, developing skills, and motivation. Counselling may also serve as an education session about good practices for mental well-being, such as coping with daily stress, dealing with criticism, tips on sleep hygiene etc. Contrary to therapy, I can share advices.
